The ShirtCam has been especially designed for investigative journalism. It is the only digital color micro-camera that is totally unnoticeable and has the Sony broadcasting quality with a 350-line resolution. It is ideal for recordings both in open-air environments, and inside with low luminosity. The camera only needs 1 Lux to capture excellent-definition images. The micro-camera lens has the size of a pin and the thickness of two coins, which makes it perfectly concealable. The ShirtCam is easy to use and has a 60° recording angle.

The audio quality is ensured by a Sony highly sensitive system of pre-amplified and miniaturized microphones. The shirt is 100% cotton and is available in two types of colors and different sizes. The system can be used with our Sony mini-recorders or our Canon MiniDV. For high-risk recordings, it can be coupled to a wireless system: wireless audio and video transmitters and receivers (see the wireless system in the menu). As an alternative, the mini-recorder DVR 15 can be used, latest tecnological inovation for miniature digital recording (see model below).

The mini recorder is indicated specially for investigative journalism, when it’s necessary the larger amount of discretion possible.Battery duration:120 minutes in standby and 100 minutes of recording. Resolution: 640 X 480 lines. Recording: On memory card SD with 110 minutes of capacity for each 2 Giga cards.
